Position Title
Ambulance Nurse

Primary Purpose of the Job:
- To provide safe emergency medical care and transport to all QP employees, sub contractors and dependents by responding to emergency calls and applying Basic Trauma Life Support to patients involved in accidents or sudden illness. When not responding to an emergency, is required to support the Primary Care facilities by providing quality Nursing Health Care in line with the Medical Services Department strategy, policies and procedures, QP corporate strategy and NHA guidelines.
Education:
- Registered Nurse/minimum 3yr certificated training. (essential) EMTB (Emergency Medical Technician Basic) (preferred) ILS (essential) ITLS, MIMMS (preferred) ACLS (preferred).
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years post registration experience (essential).
- Experience of acute care in an Emergency Setting (preferred)
- Working knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Word. (preferred)
- Evidence of continued professional development (essential)
