What to do if your car involved in an accident in Qatar?

- Do not panic
- Ensure your condition and all passenger in good condition, ask everyone are they alright.
- If your accident minor such as scratch, small damage, no one injured.Talk with the second party and discuss about that accident and always stay calm do not fight or argue.
- Call police (911) according the agreement and if necessary uses arabic language or english langguace.Inform to police about the description of accident, location,the condition of passengger and others.
- If police ordered you to move your car from the main road, obey them to move into the edge.If you disobey the order there will be fine if the vehicle blocked the traffic flow and caused traffic jam.
- The police will gather information via the communication with you and will decide whether they will come to the scene or they will ask you to come to the nearest police station along with second party.
- Stay and wait for the police if police will come to the location and the police will come defending on time.They may come in short time or long time, half hour or more than that.
- Get ready your Driving licence, Istimara or vehicele I'd and Insurance claim.
- When police arrived let police ask about the accident story and answer according the realityand truth, do not aggressive, explain with respect accordingly.
- The police will decide on the scene who was mistake and after that you may receive the police receipt to be arrange and change with police report at pointed police station.
- If the the driver mistake, he or she will receive one document, Police report and without insurance claim and will pay for amount 100 QR or more as updated from the police department authority.And for the driver who did not misatke, he or she will receive two document, Police report and insurance claim.All these document can be received in police station, not on the scene or accident location.
- Ensure all document has stamp and signed by Police Officer on duty.

- After received all document from the police you may proceed to insurance company which has chosen by police or insurance claim.

- The insurance company will select the garage for repair your vehicle according to insurance company policy.

MOTOR CLAIM
In the event of a motor claim, please contact our motor claims division.
1. Customer has to submit the following documents

Approved police report.
Copy of Insurance certificate or Insurance policy for the insured vehicle.
Copy of valid driving license for the insured blamed party.
Copy of ownership book and road permit for the non-blamed party.

2. Bring the vehicle to the designated office location for survey (vehicle is drivable), or deliver to a workshop at the nominated workshop (vehicle is not drivable).

If you are not able to assess the damage we recommend not driving the vehicle. You should arrange to tow your vehicle to the workshop. Please note that the insurance policy does not cover the consequential damage arising out of driving a vehicle following an accident.

When the above steps are completed to, we will follow through by taking our survey, assigning the proper workshop for repair, issuing repair order, delivery of vehicle after repair, receiving repair invoices with supporting documents, matching with repair order details, issuing credit note for settlement.
